We love the idea of change for the better--new jobs, business growth and opportunity, righting injustice, making the world a better place for our children and generations to come. We want a better America, a better Oklahoma, a better future. Like most of you, I was taught as a child that I am my brother's keeper. To me that means it is my job to fight for the rights of people over big corporations and special interests, while making sure we still encourage industry and the development of better, higher-paying jobs in Oklahoma.
That's why I'm running for the United States Senate, and that's why your involvement matters. Now that corporations have the same rights as individuals, they can sway political campaigns with large contributions. It's more important than ever for each and every Oklahoman to get involved with the political process and support the candidates who are fighting for you and your future. I'm not a rich man, nor am I backed by big corporations to pay for my campaign.
